The recent ‘No More’ rallies around Australia continue a long legacy of women’s rights and safety activism. The mostly unpaid work of activism is vital and exhausting, so how do we sustain it?
I didn't have time to make a sign for the rally because my son had spewed on the carpet. He had announced a funny taste in his mouth and then "bleh".
It didn't matter, though, because many signs were made by young women emboldened to step forward and take up the slack.
